Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium representatives and others will be in town next week to help residents with questions about the Affordable Care Act marketplace, Healthcare.gov and veterans’ coverage.

The SEARHC outreach and enrollment manager, Andrea Thomas, United Way navigator, Crystal Bourland, and Rural Veteran Liaison, George Bennett Sr., will be in Haines Feb. 10-12. In addition, the Alaska Native/American Indian exemption form is available and copies will be distributed.

The visit will include two presentations on the federal health insurance marketplace: noon to 1 p.m Monday at the Haines Library and 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Chilkoot Indian Association office at Third Avenue and Willard Street.

Individual appointments to assist with health care enrollment, veterans’ services and Alaska Native/American Indian exemption forms will be available at both the SEARHC Haines Clinic and the Chilkoot Indian Association on Tuesday and Wednesday.
