Proposals are due by 2 p.m. Jan. 17 for a new “Welcome to Haines” sign at the Port Chilkoot Dock.
The Haines Borough has $5,000 budgeted for the project. The artwork should reflect the community of Haines, provide a backdrop for photography, and be ready for installation no later than May 2.
Selection considerations will include drawings of the proposal, examples of past work and price.
