The Haines Drama, Debate and Forensics team picked up steam at its second meet of the season, held at Mount Edgecumbe in Sitka Oct. 11-12.
One reader’s theater piece – performed by seniors Eli White and Zeke Frank and sophomores Dylan Grimes and Neil Little – went to finals, and finished sixth out of 11 teams. The piece, called “Pounding Nails into the Floor with my Head,” was a satire of many famous inspirational speeches.
