Thank you to all the volunteers who helped Haines Friends of Recycling with our scrap metal recycling event. It was a huge success; we anticipate filling two, 40-foot vans with scrap metal to be recycled and used again. We had a great team of dismantlers, helpers, carriers and organizers. There were high school students through senior citizens and jobs for every talent. Well done, everyone!
