The Haines Woman’s Club once again had an outstanding pie sale during the Fourth of July festivities. I would like to thank all our members and friends for baking the delicious pies and cheesecakes, my worker bees, who not only baked, but worked to serve our customers, our husbands for helping with the hard labor, and all of you who bought all those pies, cheesecakes and root beer floats – without you, where would we be? A special thanks to the Haines Brewing Company for donating its very special root beer for our floats. See you all next year!
