Lunch at the Haines School cafeteria last week included locally caught Dungeness crab legs. Seafood processor Hugh Rietze said the legs were the remnants of crabs he’s been selling to Whole Foods in the Lower 48. The school bought 140 pounds as part of efforts to get more local foods onto the menu. School meal supervisor Gen Armstrongsaid getting at the meat – the legs were served cracked – occupied students.…
