We would like to thank the Haines community for its support for the Haines Emblem Club #463 during the past year. It was a hard year for us as we struggled to keep our organization going with the loss of our Elks Lodge, but we did it! I want to send out a special thank-you to my officers for 2012. It means so much to me that you all stuck by my side all year without any idea what we were doing next! I would like to send a big thank you to the American Legion Post #12 for the use of their hall for our monthly meetings, events and everything you have done for us all year. We really appreciate your support and look forward to another year working with you. This year the Emblem Club #463 is proud to say we handed out over $15,000 to youth organizations in Haines. We are still going strong with our newly elected officers for 2013 and have some great new ideas for this coming year. The Emblem Club attracts individuals of many diverse talents, abilities, and ages, when all combined make Emblem a very special organization. In Emblem there is an important place for each member.
