Food film on March 14

The Haines contingent of We the People will present the 2011 documentary “Farmageddon: The Unseen War on American Family Farms” 6 p.m. March 14 at the library.

The film highlights the impacts of growing food locally, as well as the U.S. government favoring corporations over the interests of small business owners and farmers when it comes to food production, We the People member Carol Mitchell said.
