As a member of Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins’ campaign team, I can assure you that his statements regarding former Rep. Bill Thomas’ voting position were entirely truthful and reflected his genuine concerns as to the future of our state. Gov. Parnell’s oil tax bill, HB 110, did come up for a vote during the regular floor session and passed, 22 to 16, on March 31, 2011. Voting yes was Rep. Thomas. This came up in the campaign not as an untruthful, scheming attack on Bill, but as an honest attempt to illustrate a key difference between Jonathan and Bill. But the election is over, and, like it or not, Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins is our representative. Let’s save the negative comments until the next election. Eli White
