Thanks to relatively good weather and the hard work and donations from many in the community, the first annual Tim Walsh, Richard Comerford Memorial Screaming Eagle Classic Golf Tournament was a huge success.
I would like to personally thank all those who graciously donated to help make this event possible: Stan Jones, Kathy Pardee-Jones, Andrew Rex and Tyler Barrack at the Valley of the Eagles Golf Links (Great job with the course!), Olerud’s Market Center, The Parts Place, King’s Store, Haines Convention and Visitors Center, Haines Chamber of Commerce, The Harbor Bar, The Babbling Book, Southeast Roadbuilders, Fogcutter Bar, First National Bank of Alaska, and Northern Construction. Combined with this year’s great Southeast Alaska State Fair, it made for quite an exciting weekend.
