Ketchikan’s Dakota Stacy pitches against Ketchikan in the final game of the Southeast Alaska Little League championship Sunday, July 22, in Haines. Juneau’s undefeated All-Stars handily won, capping the 11-game tournament held at Fair Field. The Haines All-Stars beat Prince of Wales but dropped games to Juneau, Sitka and Ketchikan. Winning manager Spencer Storie of Juneau said Haines did a great job hosting the games and his team enjoyed the weather here. His squad was headed to Anchorage to play in a game for the state championship. Tournament events included a home-run derby. Players also pitched to drop each other into the fair’s dunk tank.
