Haines All-Stars at the start of the Alaska District 2 Major League All-Star Tournament Tuesday at Fair Field. Ceremonies included a Bob Krebs trumpet solo, “To the Colors,” and the Haines Women’s A Capella Choir rendition of the Star Spangled Banner. Juneau, Ketchikan, Sitka, Prince of Wales and Haines are competing for the Southeast crown. Games continue through Saturday.
