The Haines Animal Rescue Kennel is hosting a free health fair for pets on Saturday, June 9, at the ANB Hall.
The 10 a.m.-1 p.m. event includes tips from HARK and local professionals on dog grooming, preventative health care, holistic health, obedience training, dietary needs and more.
“All dogs and cats are welcome, but please be sure to have them secured on a leash or in a portable kennel,” said Steve Vick, HARK executive director.
HARK also is offering free nail trimming and “snout-to-tail” assessments for pets at the fair. Vick noted the assessments are observational tools, and not for diagnostic purposes.
Leashes, collars and training toys will be available for purchase. For more information, contact HARK at 766-3334.
