Special events will be held in conjunction with the season’s first docking of a large cruise ship.
Holland America’s 1,440-passenger Zaandam arrives Wednesday morning in Haines. Live music will be performed throughout the day and games for residents and crew members.
“It’s kind of a getting-to-know-you event,” said visitor’s center employee Linda Moyer.
