The Haines Animal Rescue Kennel would like to thank all those who attended our annual member meeting and stir-fry dinner. The night was a great success and lots of fun. In particular we want to thank Howser’s IGA and Olerud’s for their dinner donations, Wings of Alaska for their auction items, Beverly from King’s Store for her continued support and the Benassis for all their volunteer efforts. We also want to make special mention of Joanne Waterman for another great performance as our auctioneer. And thanks to Hog Heaven for donating the volunteer of the year awards and Radio Shack for the cool remote control helicopter auction item. (It was very popular.)
The HARK board, our members and especially our four-legged friends appreciate the continued support of the Haines community. We look forward to another year of serving the pets (and their people) of the upper Lynn Canal.
