The Triple Threat Tournament took over the town last weekend with about 160 players taking part in 42 games of basketball over three days. Juneau and Haines teams claimed most wins.

Girls and boys from fourth grade to junior varsity, from Haines, Juneau, Skagway and Whitehorse, competed in three divisions.

“It was a very good tournament and went mostly smooth,” said Sarah Swinton.

She and husband, Ralph Swinton, helped organize the tournament along with Ashley Sage and parents and volunteers helping with refereeing and scorekeeping.
