This year’s Lighting of the Library was a joyful success thanks to the many volunteers and business sponsors in our community. Mike Ward and Howsers IGA, the Lende family and Lutak Lumber, Mountain Market and Haines Home Building were all important sponsors this year. Many more businesses and individuals decorated trees for the silent auction that raised more than $1,400 for the Friends of the Library. Thank you.
Every year, Frankie and Mark Jones put their lives on hold for weeks in order to transform the library and brighten our lives. This 9th Lighting of the Library is the last year that Frankie will coordinate the effort. The next time you see Frankie or Mark, let them know how much their effort means to you. And to all of the volunteers this year, thank you. The Library sparkles because of you.
