On Thanksgiving I experienced first-hand this town’s emergency response to a personal crisis. I am very impressed. From the dispatcher and officer Jason Rettinger, the five-person EMT squad (of whose names I remember only Thom Andriesen and Al Badgley), as well as Dr. Julia Heinz and nurse Becky Malone, this town is truly blessed.
