The Haines Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for its board of directors.
Nominations will be accepted at Friday’s noon chamber meeting at Chilkat Restaurant.
Three seats on the board are up for election this year. Board members serve three-year terms.
Terms are up for Patty Campbell, Judith McDermaid and Adam Patterson.
Other board members include Brenda Jones, Barbara Mulford, Will Prisciandaro, Ned Rozbicki, Joyce Town and Evangeline Willard-Hoy.
Nominees must be current chamber members in good standing and submit a one- or two-paragraph biography by 5 p.m. Friday.
Board members are expected to attend chamber meetings, support chamber functions and participate in occasional task force groups or special projects.
Those interested in serving on the chamber board should ask a fellow member to nominate them on Friday. A declaration of candidacy also can be downloaded at haineschamber.org/declaration.
