I would like to thank everyone who assisted with this year’s Halloween party: Lee Heinmiller for the use of the ANB Hall; the Uglies of Haines and American Legion for the haunted house; the Women’s Club, Emblem Club and the Elks, Haines Volunteer Fire Department, and American Bald Eagle Foundation for the owl viewing; and the American Legion Auxiliary members for all the hard work. I am hoping I am not forgetting anyone! Several other community members came to donate their time to decorate and run the games, and made monetary donations, also. Thank you all so much for giving the kids a safe, warm, dry, place to have fun and to be on Halloween.
