The second season of the Discovery Channel reality television show “Gold Rush” will launch Friday, Oct. 28, with men again looking to strike it rich at the Porcupine mining district.
According to The Futon Critic website that covers the TV industry, new episodes of “Gold Rush” averaged 3.73 million viewers a week, making it the top ad-supported cable program on Friday nights for adults in the 18-49 and 25-54 demographics.
