Haines Friends of Recycling would like to thank the Chilkat Valley Community Foundation for the grant they gave us in late 2010 for the purchase of our new recycling collection containers we have used at the Fourth of July picnic and the Southeast Alaska State Fair. If you have seen the containers, you probably saw how much easier they are to use. We also have bags for collecting compostable service ware and food scraps.
