According to Sheldon Museum director Jerrie Clarke, a $40,000 upgrade in the building will help guests “see the exhibits, not the carpet.”
The Haines Borough Assembly on Aug. 23 approved $41,428 to replace carpet at the Sheldon Museum.
“That carpet needs replacing,” said assemblyman Steve Vick. “Hopefully, it will be a different color, too.”
