Borough manager Mark Earnest this week said a mayor-appointed helicopter skiing work group again might take up the topic of global positioning system data to track heli-skiing, but the group’s next meeting has not yet been scheduled.
“That’s something I’m going to be talking to the Mayor about, trying to get that set as soon as we can,” Earnest said.
The heli-skiing season closed May 3. Earnest said he tried to gather the nine-member work group in June for a meeting to serve as “a review and a critique” of the borough’s revised heli-skiing ordinance, but a few members had scheduling conflicts.
