Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Nature is an endless combination and repetition of a very few laws. She hums the old, well known air through innumerable variations.” “Breathe” is a healthy message. Taking a breath, a conscious fill-the-belly-up breath, is one of the healthiest things we can do. It increases our circulation, allowing our bodies to do the multitude of functions needed to keep us healthy. Breathing counters stress. It really does relax us and that translates into being better at whatever we are doing; whether it’s meeting tourists at Port Chilkoot Dock, discussing issues at meetings, or simply smiling at a passer-by.
