Thank you just doesn’t seem to express our feelings for our family and friends here in Haines for the prayers, food, cards, phone calls, and visits. We are humbled as well as overwhelmed. We feel loved and cared for beyond our wildest imaginations. Dr. Bowman, Jody Miller, Becky Malone, Laurie Weldon – all of you are such an asset to our community. Never once do we feel like we are in this fight alone. You have taken the fear of the unknown out of our lives for us to enjoy our time together with family and friends. We thank you. To our loyal customers of the Saw Shop, thank you for your understanding. We hope to have a solution for the shop in the near future. Pete is doing OK. He cannot eat or drink, but we have him on IVs. He still has his wonderful smile and loves to visit when his energy allows him to. We have been blessed for the time that we have had. As Pete always says, “It’s a good life if you don’t weaken.”
