American Legion Post 12 wants to express its appreciation and respect to Cub Scout Pack 70 for its participation in the Fourth of July flag raising and lowering ceremonies at Fort Seward; Tommy Ricker, Kyle Dozier, Caleb Franks and Baylor Perry led by Jayme Dozier and advisor Dennis Franks displayed great professionalism and respect for the flag in conducting the ceremonies. Hunter Badgley’s superb rendering of Taps was appreciated by all the attendees.
Additionally, on behalf of all veterans I’d like to express our appreciation to the Chamber of Commerce and the residents of Haines for choosing veterans as grand marshal of the 2011 Fourth of July parade. The respect and support that you have shown us is deeply appreciated.
