Olerud’s Market Center is sprucing up its storefront.
The grocery and apparel store on Main Street is renovating its exterior to add new siding, new doors and handicap-accessible ramps at each end of the building.
Plans for the exterior also include a new Olerud’s sign, railings and a covered entrance.
Manager Doug Olerud said the exterior has remained the same for the last 35 years.
“We want to create better access to the store and at the same time spruce up a little bit and make our little part of downtown look a little better,” Olerud said.
Larry Larson designed the plans and Jim Stanford and Sons is doing the renovations. The work has been under way for a month and Olerud said he expects the project to be completed near the end of June.
