Thank you, Southeast Alaska State Fair for hiring a local person as fair director. It is very encouraging to see a person currently living in town with a family be hired for a position. If you want to build up the Haines economy, a good place to start would be to hire people currently living in town that are shopping locally and contributing to our community.
