The Haines Borough Assembly on March 22 approved up to $225,000 for replacement of a Barnett Drive water pump station to improve capacity.
The assembly authorized borough manager Mark Earnest to enter into an agreement with Henricksen Constructors of Juneau, which submitted a $225,000 bid. The borough received six other bids, ranging from $227,000 to $421,500.
