Four teams from Haines and Klukwan entered Juneau’s Gold Medal Basketball Tournament, but only the Haines Merchants were alive as of press time Wednesday.
The Merchants were set to face Angoon 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the “B” semifinal. The team is 2-0, with wins over the Kake Tlingit Warriors and Hoonah ANB.
