Big Brothers Big Sisters is a non-profit charity and depends on a wide range of support, much of it local. On Saturday, Feb. 19, our matches enjoyed an excellent sledding group activity at the home of Diz Kistler and Mardell Gunn, as we have for a number of years. The hill was fast and the hospitality, perfect!

Howsers IGA and AP&T are strong annual contributors and the event sponsors for the 2011 Bowl for Kids’ Sake Campaign, our annual pledge drive. Team Parts Place consistently pegs the fun-meter and makes a major annual contribution as a pledge-raising/bowling team.

The Babbling Book, Emblem Club, Haines BoroughLutak Lumber, Olerud family, Sockeye Cycle and St. James Place have been important contributors to Big Brothers Big Sisters for a number of years.

On behalf of the youth and families we serve, and our volunteers, thank you all. Your strong support is part of our success in helping kids reach their potential. Get involved in the Bowl for Kids’ Sake Campaign, or learn about our programs, at 766-2151.
