Some 30 years later, a salute means as much to me now as it did in Vietnam – honor and pride. A buddy and I still salute each other on the highway.
I along with others salute the heroic efforts of the U.S. Coast Guard in the search and rescue teams for their actions resulting in a happy ending to a long night.
To me, they don’t get enough credit. So I salute you.
