Several years ago Karen Hess landed a seat on the Haines Borough Assembly, interestingly at the same time she was trying to get title to riverfront land she currently runs boat tours from. In very short order, she got her land and promptly resigned. Coincidence? Maybe.
Has anyone wondered what she wants from the borough this time. Will she, perhaps, pull a “Palin” again? Just wondering.
