It’s a first for Haines! The Babe Ruth District Playoffs are scheduled for next Friday and Saturday at the 1-mile ball park.
The contest will be between the combined teams of Haines and Skagway versus the combined teams of Juneau and Douglas. The winner of the best two out of three games here will go to Sitka for the State Tournament. Then the winning team at Sitka will travel to Casper, Wyo., for the Regionals.
