The Haines Dolphins Swim Team has had to tread some rough waters this past year due to pool closures and then Covid-19. But we have persevered! And we couldn’t have done it without the volunteer hours of local residents.

 On behalf of the HDST board, I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to those who showed up for our last meet of the season on April 23-24 to make it a reality. It was touch-and-go to get enough people to fill the necessary slots. Many were former swim parents; some with no swimmers on the team at all. It truly takes a village.

The Dolphins continue practice through May. The swimmers and their families look forward to starting another great season in September.
