Tuesday, March 12

A Beach Road caller reported a possibly abandoned vehicle. Vehicle owner was contacted to remove it.

A Lutak Road caller reported a rock in the roadway. DOT was advised.

A Chilkat Lake Road burglar alarm was activated.

Wednesday, March 13

A Main Street caller reported a noise complaint.

A search and rescue was conducted for a 34 year old male on the Takshanuk Mountain Trail.

A Mosquito Lake Road caller reported a violation of a protective order.

A Haines area caller reported a child neglect issue and was referred to contact the Alaska Office of Children’s Services.

A water/sewer alarm was activated at the water plant.

Thursday, March 14

A report of a rock slide at 6 Mile Lutak Road was relayed to DOT.

Friday, March 15

A caller reported an open door on Fort Seward Drive.

A citizen turned in four syringes to the police department.

A Second Avenue caller reported a resident was possibly scammed.

A caller reported a downed stop sign on Dalton Street.

A caller requested information of obtaining a protective order.

Saturday, March 16

A water/sewer alarm was activated at 1 Mile Haines Highway.

A caller requested assistance in fulfilling a writ of assistance.

A fuel spill was reported at FAA and Battle Road.

A pump station alarm was activated on Sawmill Road.

A caller reported a boulder in the road at 5 Mile Lutak Road. DOT was advised.

A welfare check was requested.

A 31 Mile Haines Highway caller reported multiple issues.

A Dalton Street caller reported hearing an argument.

Monday, March 18

Haines Police responded to speak with intoxicated and disorderly subjects.

A Chilkat Lake Road intrusion alarm was activated.

A mud slide was reported at 1 Mile Lutak Road and the information was relayed to DOT.

A pump station alarm was activated at 1 Mile Haines Highway.

A Main Street caller reported a vehicle parked in a yellow zone.

A Union Street caller reported a friend being harassed by an individual.

Investigation continues into a report of a violation of a protective order.

A welfare check was requested.

A caller reported a missing stop sign at Dalton Street and Fourth Avenue.

Haines Volunteer Fire Dept. responded to a service call on Lutak Road.

Haines Police responded to a report of a verbal domestic dispute on Young Road.

There were five 911 hang-ups, four canine and seven EMS calls, and five vehicle stops.
