A caller reported an unlicensed driver.

Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle.

Thursday, May 3

A caller reported being conned out of $400 by a fraud.

A caller on Second Avenue reported receiving a fraudulent telephone call.

A caller reported someone stole miscellaneous household items on Young Road.

A caller reported a rock in the roadway on Lutak Road. The state Department of Transportation was advised.

Police responded to a report of a burglary on Dalton Street. An investigation continues.

Police received a confidential report of drug activity.

Police responded to a vehicle parked in the wrong direction on Main Street.

Friday, May 4

A message was relayed to the state Division of Parks and Recreation from the Chilkoot Lake area.

A power outage was reported.

A 35-year-old man of First Avenue was taken into protective custody.

Police received a report of a lost wallet and credit card.

A caller reported possible unattended children on Second Avenue. Police spoke with adults involved.

Police conducted a welfare check.

Sunday, May 6

A 60-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence and refusal on Main Street and was transported to Haines jail.

A caller reported a possible aircraft in distress at 26 Mile Haines Highway.

Monday, May 7

A caller reported black smoke near 0 Mile Haines Highway.

A caller reported a cable in the road on Haines Highway. DOT was advised.

Police responded to a report of a stow away onboard the ferry.

There was one 911 call, three canine calls, 13 EMS calls and nine vehicle stops.
