Tuesday, November 14

An intrusion alarm was activated at 0 Mile Haines Highway and determined to be accidental.

An intrusion alarm was activated on Front Street and determined to be accidental.

Wednesday, November 15

A caller reported a bear in the area of Vermier Street.

The Haines Police Department received a report of a domestic dispute on Mud Bay Road.

A caller in the Haines area reported unwanted contact. The caller was referred to court to obtain a protective order.

HPD assisted another agency with paper service.

HPD received a confidential report of child abuse.

Thursday, November 16

A confidential investigation into a report of drug activity was initiated.

Friday, November 17

` A caller reported a vehicle parked on Main Street that was impeding snow removal. The owner of the vehicle was notified.

HPD received a long-term protective order to serve on a 44-year old male.

HPD assisted a citizen in relaying a message.

Saturday, November 18

A Fourth Avenue caller reported a bear in the area.

HPD served court papers to a Comstock Road resident. Drugs and weapons were involved.

Haines Volunteer Fire Dept. responded to a report of a chimney fire in the Eagle’s Nest Trailer Park.

Sunday, November 19

An agency called regarding weather conditions.

Officers responded to a report of a fight on Vermier Street. Alcohol and weapons were involved.

A fire alarm was activated on Union Street and was determined to be accidental.

Monday, November 20

HPD relayed a message from the airport to Alaska Dept. of Transportation.

Vacation watch notice was received for a Haines resident.

A caller on Small Tracts Road reported receiving a fraudulent phone call.

HPD relayed a message to a Union Street resident.

There was one traffic stop, two 911 hang-ups, four medical and no canine calls.
