Tuesday, September 19

A caller reported a resident frequently driving without a valid driver’s license.

An investigation began into a report of a domestic assault. Domestic violence and weapons are involved.

Police assisted the Alaska State Troopers with relaying a message to 22 Mile Haines Highway regarding a donated moose.

Wednesday, September 20

A caller requested a neighbor on River Road be contacted about their barking dogs.

Police responded to a report of a runaway juvenile and located them near 1 Mile Haines Highway.

A message was relayed to the borough facilities department about an issue on Deishu Drive.

A complaint regarding a proxy moose hunt was referred to the Alaska State Troopers.

Thursday, September 21

A caller reported a speeding vehicle on FAA Road.

Haines Volunteer Fire Department responded to a small heating fuel spill at 1.5 Mile Small Tracts Road.

HVFD responded to a service call on Lutak Road.

A credit card found on Battery Point Trail was turned in to police.

Police conducted a welfare check on a Haines resident traveling in Tennessee.

A caller reported a relative threatening family at 3 Mile Haines Highway. Police responded and resolved the issue. Domestic violence and weapons were involved.

An officer made contact with a suspicious vehicle parked behind a secure building on Main Street.

An officer made contact with three suspicious people near 1 Mile Haines Highway.

Friday, September 22

A caller was provided information on evicting a tenant from a residence at 3 Mile Haines Highway. Domestic violence was involved.

A caller reported a domestic dispute on Chilkat State Park Road.

A caller reported a vehicle taking up two parking spaces at the Small Boat Harbor.

Sunday, September 24

An investigation began into a violation of conditions of release.

A caller reported a fire at 28 Mile Haines Highway that was determined to be a controlled burn.

A caller reported garbage scattered on Union Street. The owner of the garbage was notified.

Monday, September 25

A caller reported an unsecured horse at 3 Mile Haines Highway. The owner was advised.

There was one traffic stop, six 911 hang-ups, 10 medical calls and six canine calls.
