Thanks for help during crisis
Joe Hotch and I want to thank the staff of Haines Southeast Alaska Health Consortium clinic, Haines ambulance crew, Guardian Flight and Mount Edgecumbe Hospital for their care during Joe’s recent medevac. We value each and every one of you! Someone had knitted a yarn hat which was put on his head just before he was transferred by the ambulance here in Haines. He was given a dinosaur beanie baby, a mascot for his healing. These “touches” of love mean so much to the patient.
Joe’s children and grandchildren rallied around him while waiting for Guardian Flight to arrive from Sitka. He refers to them as “good medicine” and truly I understand his meaning. It took all of these people working in concert to help him back up when he could not support himself without assistance. We are grateful. Joe is doing much better now. We appreciate the warm fuzzies, well wishes and prayers that were received along the way. Gunalcheesh. Thank you!
