Monday, March 18

A woman reported a man hit her parked vehicle near 1 Mile Lutak Road. Police responded and initiated a case.

A man requested extra patrols on Deishu Drive after reporting possible theft of fuel from a tank.

An anonymous caller reported a fraudulent phone call soliciting funds for “police and public service.”

Police arrested a man for assault in the fourth degree after a caller reported the man being drunk and disorderly in a residence on Small Tracts Road.

Sunday, March 17

A person requested a welfare check on a friend whose line went dead during a phone conversation. Officers checked and everything was fine.

A broken water main on Allen Road and Comstock Road was shut off until it could be fixed.

Dispatch helped another agency with a registration check.

Two traffic stops resulted in two verbal warnings for failure to stop at a stop sign and a warning for speeding.

Saturday, March 16

A caller reported two black goats on Small Tracts Road.

A caller reported a possible repeat trespasser on her Mud Bay Road property. Police checked the area but found nothing amiss.

A Mathias Avenue resident reported intruders in her downstairs apartment. An officer responded and found no signs of intruders.

Two traffic stops resulted in two verbal warnings for failure to stop at a stop sign and speeding.

Friday, March 15

An officer responded to Mathias Avenue after a resident called dispatch to report noises in her downstairs apartment. The officer found nothing amiss.

Dispatch received a call reporting a civil dispute between family members. All parties were referred to the court.

Dispatch received a call from Adult Protective Services requesting a welfare check. An officer responded and the issue was resolved.

Troopers were advised of a bear causing problems at the dump and damaging the building.

A caller reported Union Street was extremely slick.

A traffic stop resulted in a verbal warning for failure to stop at a stop sign.

Thursday, March 14

Officers were advised that a caller reported a drunk driver.

Troopers were advised of a single-vehicle rollover near 32 Mile Haines Highway. There was one occupant, who sustained no injuries.

Four traffic stops resulted in verbal warnings for speeding and failure to stop at stop signs. A citation was issued for not having proof of insurance.

Wednesday, March 13

A caller reported icy conditions at an intersection of Small Tracts Road and Mud Bay Road.

A caller reported a reckless driver going 70 mph on Lutak Road.

Police arrested a man in an establishment that sells liquor for violating conditions of release.

Two traffic stops resulted in verbal warnings for a defective taillight and failure to stop at a stop sign.

Dispatch received 19 medical calls and two canine calls.
