Keep dirty mining trucks in Canada

Haines, wake up! The Chilkat River bridge needs attention! Since when? The powers that be in Haines evidently are dealing with the possibility of bringing in huge, heavy-duty trucks and the Department of Transportation seems to be going along with this future happening! I, for one, don’t need Canada to be using our town so they can dirty up our roads and fill the air with pollution from whatever mining schedule they have planned for the future of Haines. Wake up, Haines. Wake up and stop the trucks. And enough of this foolishness. As if Canada really cares about our fishing. Let them use and repair their own roads.
