Age doesn't equal candidates' worth

I don’t believe age should be the defining factor in determining a person’s worth. I know many young people who are disciplined, intelligent, curious, honest and compassionate.

I’ve never met Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins, but as a former teacher in Haines I know well several former students who now support him. I am not willing to discount their opinions.

I find it refreshing that concerned young people, such as Kreiss-Tomkins and Royal Henderson, are willing to become candidates at a time when so few people in our country have any respect for politicians.
