The Haines Arts Council was so pleased to see a full house at the Chilkat Center for a beautiful and inspiring performance by Thodos Dance Chicago. As always, many community members and businesses stepped up to help make it a success. Special thanks go out to Lee Heinmiller, Tod Sebens, and Joanna Egolf who donated an entire day to work on technical requirements for the show. Many thanks also to The Captain’s Choice Motel, Howsers IGA, Olerud’s Market Center, Sara J’s, Mountain Market, King’s Store, KHNS, CVN, Haines Borough School District, Ed Gorman, Melissa Aronson, Kerry Cohen, Dena Selby, Linda Moyer, and Liz Heywood. The arts council thrives on such support! Watch your sources for our final two events of the season, Earl Hughes (Alaska’s ambassador to country music) in late April, and the bluegrass band Blue Highway on June 11. Thank you, all.
