Students share in learning

The Haines School third-grade class would like to thank the Klukwan School students for coming to our classroom to share in an afternoon of learning. The older students taught us about seals. We learned about seal anatomy and how the Tlingits used each part of the seal for a special purpose. We also learned how seals stay warm in icy waters and had a great time experimenting with a blubber glove. Thanks again, Klukwan, for spending the afternoon with us.
