Friends of the Library thank the CVCF

Thank you for printing the photo of the new landscaping around the library totem pole in the September 8th issue. Pete Dohrn does deserve thanks for all the hard work he put into making it warm and inviting. Thanks also go to Ed Hays, who donated his time and energy in building the beautiful benches and Ralph Borders for the initial ground work. Our primary thanks goes to the Chilkat Valley Community Foundation for the generous grant that made this landscaping project happen. It has been wonderful to see more people, tourists and locals stopping to enjoy the totem pole now that there is a welcoming space surrounding it. We appreciate the support of CVCF to this Friends of the Library project. It has helped us fulfill the dream of the Library Totem Park.
