A heartfelt thanks to those who volunteered at the Hooves and Paws Winter Tune-Up on Feb. 12. Thanks for helping set up, clean up, time triathlon events and the 5K run and walk, organize games and prepare and serve chili. Thanks to Nate Benton for making it all happen at the school. Staying fit, active and healthy in Haines year-round can seem daunting. Getting out the door is often the hardest part, but there’s no better motivator than our beloved, furry companions!
